I’m an immigrant, a parent of three wonderful daughters, a former Sammamish Planning Commissioner, and a technology executive. My journey began in India, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of Madras. I later pursued a Master’s in Engineering and Technology Management from Portland State University—driven by a desire to solve real-world problems and build better systems.
Today, I serve as a Director of Software Development at Amazon, leading teams in multiple countries that deliver global-scale solutions. But my most important role is right here at home, as a husband, a father, and a neighbor.
My wife and I are proud to raise our family in Sammamish. Our daughters have grown up attending our excellent public schools, and like many of you, we commute to work in Seattle each day. We understand the daily challenges working families face such as long commutes, balancing busy lives, and wanting more time to enjoy what matters most.
We chose Sammamish for its natural beauty, safe neighborhoods, and strong sense of community. We’re deeply grateful for the clean air, towering trees, and wildlife that make this city feel like home. And we warmly welcome every new family who chooses to build their future here. Everyone deserves to experience the same sense of belonging and quality of life that our family has cherished.
I’m running for Sammamish City Council because I believe in giving back to the community that has given us so much and because I know we can work together to protect what we love while building a future we can all be proud of.
